How do you feel about the Maury Show?
I personally feel that if they have recycled that DNA test idea to death. I am sick of the "guess if Im a man" shows. I do like the ones about the out of control teens, however they need to get Dee West off of there. He comes out with a vest on and no shirt, looking like a muscular Finding Nemo fish. He comes in yelling and you could see spit flying. He yells at the teens and abusive husbands. I do not feel that all of those people changed their ways within an hour and because of him. I also dont like that fact that people are able to CUT school and go to his show as an audience member. My brother has done this many times!. If they were there to help the woman getting a DNA test then why not save them the embarrasment and tell them before they start the yelling and cursing a guy out.
Maury promised not to exploit people, but when his ratings dropped, he did just that. I dont like when he has the deformed children up there, even though he gives them things, but why do you need to exploit a child because of their disability, or looks.
I especially HATE those opposite shows where there is a skinny guy and a HUUUUUUUUUGE girl, and she is damn near naked. No one wants to see your dimples and craters..

my brother is an adult now. he was about 16-17 when he cut school to see maury..only because his girlfriend wanted to go.
LOL@Dee west looking like finding nemo. You are so right about all of this. Maury is not helping anyone. You see even HE is on the news now for sexual harrassment. I used to watch his show faithfully, but all it consists of is UPDATES of old crap, and the new episodes are the SAME topics with NEW faces. The hidden camera shows are snoozers, how many times can we see a car run into a pole? Or seeing people having sex in the office. Then he brings the kids with birht defects and lets them sing and dance, but he really doesnt care about those children, it is all about RATINGS!. He did promise not to exploit people, until his ratings became super low. He wasnt that bad on channel 4, but when he came to channel 11, thats when it got bad. Jerry springer is another show that totally bites. I saw a question on Ask! Yahoo. A person asked were the characters on Jerry Springer Real and they answered Yes. Total bull. Even on Ricki Lake(canceled) a young teen girl received an HIV test and it was negative, however what if it had been positive? I think she probably still would have told.
On Jenny Jones, a man had a gay crush on his friend and was killed 3 days later because he embarrased the guy(he kissed him when he had on a blindfold)
I just hate talk shows. I'd rather watch court shows now, and even they are getting terrible(Judge Mathis, does just that, JUDGE people, instead of listening, he always has something smart to say, and he forgot that he was just like some of the people he is making fun of, it took for his mom to be on her death bed to turn his life around, and he is always implying that someone is gay, Im starting to wonder about HIM) I enjoy Judge Mayblean(Divorce Court) I also like Judge Hatchett but she is cocky and has a terrible temper, however she never gives up on the children.
Judge Judy is just a dried up crab!.
That sums up what I think about Maury and other talk shows.

i think that you are not the father is so overdone if one more whore comes on the show swearing she only slept with one man who is not the father i will throw up i dont even watch any more and the out of control teens one good butt beating and they would be just fine also the whose a man shows they all are ugly so they need not do anymore shows i hate maury now and the test results say you are not the father sometimes i think they lie just for ratings everybody cant be lieing or not be the father

How pathetic is it that I am addicted to the dna test shows! I loooove them…It's my guilty pleasure and I am so ashamed of myself!. I don't get tired of them because it's not very often that I am home during the day. It is so predictable and why would anyone voluntarily put themselves through that much shame, I don't know. I think it's my way of laughing at someone who would be willing to disrespect themselves in that manner, male or female. And tell your brother to take is a$$ to school unless he is working on getting a paid intership there!

I think the show exploits everyone that's on there, except those that need to be exploited, like the missing child stories. It does help to gain some exposure when needing to find a lost child.
However, stories like the DNA testing and out-of-control teens are just means of exploitation. I honestly don't think thos teens change, the men stop treating the wives like meat, or do those fathers (willingly) take care of those babies.

My sentiments exactly. Every time that show is on its the same subject. I watch a little and then once I shake my head, the channel changes. The same thing can be said about Jerry Springer though. I saw a show the other day and it was titled, " I got pregnant by a giant transsexual!" How far can this ridiculous *!%# go on?

As far as those Huge girls on the show, I cannot stand the fact that they cannot be presentable. No one wants to see you wobbling and jiggling all over the place in your big drawers. Or the really huge tall guys with the adult woman who are like 3 feet tall and not developed. They are just fulfilling a pedophile fantasy legally. The drag queen shows are soooooo boring.. He doesnt even give out money any more for guessing correctly.

I think it's funny as all get out. the people that get on there are sometimes so stupid that you just want to say things like a little bit of common sense would fix your problem. I like the ones where they bring the little kids on there and they do special things for them. If all y'all have not noticed that 75% of the time that the DNA tests show that the daddy ain't the daddy that's way funny to me. I also like the ones where they bring on guys dressed like girls and make you guess which ones are guys and which ones are girls. Sometimes those get me. But for real y'all what straight guy would dress up like a woman? Come on now!
